Gold, Godsend or Profanity?

Even now and then, the Philippines were always blessed with minerals and metal deposits due to its geology. The islands are on the top of underwater mountains were formed due to the molten rocks from the interior of the earth, which created the ideal setting of a variety of valuable minerals. Benguet is the oldest and first mining company established in 1903.Is the economy rises through gold? Mining affects the economy of the country because of the exports to the other country. It is made up of 0.6% of its total exports. The country currently host eight operating gold mines. While, on the other hand, mining does not make up a large portion of the Philippines economy.
The effects and benefits are felt strongly in certain parts of the country. The real point is, the economy were not really rising because of the mined goldsthat we have. The place that has been used in mining got destructed as well as the soil. Aside from that, all the mining companiesare targeting the rich places where there are many hidden minerals. So the forest and trees got denuded. The forest and nature where we can get our needs will be gone.It is now a dead and ruined place. For me, gold is truly a profanity, for it will take lives and properties. Properties that we strive hard to get.

What are the dis advantages and advantage of mining? Benefits of mining include supply of raw mineralsneeded for construction of roads and hospitals or manufacturing of products, such as auto mobiles; employment creation; source of income and foreign exchange for the mining country. But, let us all remember that the environmental impact of mining includes erosion, formation of sinkholes, loss of biodiversity and contamination of soil, groundwater and surface water by chemicals from mining processes. Besides from creating environmental damage, the contamination resulting from leakage of chemicals also affects the health of the local population.

How about underground minings? Is it safe? No, explosion also can trigger casualties and may cause danger of lives. Underground mining can include suffocation while mining because of not too much space inside. Roof collapse, we are not sure when it will fall off. Truly, the lives of miners were in danger. Rock burst and gas explosion.
